Get To Know Us!

Hello!  Thank you for your interest in Trinity Lutheran ELC!

Whether you are looking for full time or part time care, your child is about to embark on a journey, encompassing healthy adult-child relationships, curriculum that promotes learning and development, and teachers who use a variety of teaching methods to reach the needs of all.

Christine Morris- ELC Director

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Christine Morris. I live in Abingdon with my
two adult children, my daughter in-law, our 3 cats and our dog. We moved to Maryland
from New Jersey in 2003. I hold a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and have over 40
years of experience working in childcare. I am proud to say that 90% of our teachers are
lead teachers with 30% of our staff working towards their college degree in education. In
addition, we partner with Harford Community College Apprenticeship Program, which
provides training for future teachers.

Trinity ELC offers secure entrances along with cameras in each classroom. I encourage
you to schedule a tour to see how our Christian Based Center with a warm family feel
can benefit your child!

Meet the Team

Our staff members are carefully selected through a rigorous hiring process, ensuring they bring both experience and a genuine passion for nurturing children! Each team member undergoes comprehensive training in early childhood education, safety, and health standards, so families can feel confident their children are learning and thriving in a secure, high-quality environment!

Megan Finnigan

Hello! It’s been my privilege and joy to teach at Trinity ELC the last year and a half. I have my 90 hour certificate and have worked in early childhood education for over 15 years. It has always been important to me to work at a religious center. I enjoy watching the students grow throughout the school year academically and with their love of God.

I am proud to be here at Trinity ELC!  Early Childhood is where the foundations are being built for future learning. I love to help children learn and watch their faces light up when they learn something new.
